The highly anticipated tour by the K-pop group is coming to an end, along with fans’ hopes for additional concerts.
The South Korean group BLACKPINK, made up of Lisa, Rosé, Jennie, and Jisoo, is about to conclude its “Deadline World Tour.” On January 16, YG Entertainment announced that no new shows will be added to the tour schedule.
The news has left fans in several countries disappointed, as many were hoping the tour would expand with additional dates. By comparison, BLACKPINK’s previous tour, the Born Pink Tour, featured 66 concerts, while the current tour includes only 33 dates and visits 10 fewer countries.
YG’s current focus for BLACKPINK is now on the release of their new mini album in February, along with its promotion. Fans, known as BLINKs, are holding on to the hope that a new world tour may follow afterward.
It is worth noting that the Deadline World Tour is BLACKPINK’s first tour after renewing their contract with YG. The tour began in 2025, covering Asia, North America, and select European countries. The group is currently in Tokyo, and the final concert is scheduled for January 26 at the recently inaugurated Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.
