If you enjoy fairs filled with rides, live music and school competitions, the California Mid-Winter Fair & Fiesta is one of those events that brings entertainment and culture together in one place.
This annual festival takes place in Imperial, California, and for several weeks it brings together families, students and visitors who come to experience the festive atmosphere of the Imperial Valley.
More than just a fair
While many people visit for the rides, food stands and concerts, the fair is also known for its student events and competitions between local schools.
One of the most anticipated highlights is High School Madness, a competition where students from different high schools showcase their talent in music, dance and spirit performances.

Each team tries to bring the best energy to the stage with choreographies, performances and the enthusiastic support of their classmates.
